Fire!!

Last night we watched in awe as this fire ripped over our once beautiful hill. It burned a house in our ward and just missed our church. We left Herriman when the smoke became too much to handle. We drove across the valley to Amanda's mom's house. We're grateful it wasn't worse thanks to prayers and a change in wind direction. Thanks for your calls of concern!

Trip to Denver

We took a trip to Denver for 5 days. It was a fun getaway. The kids did well on the plane. Noah loved it

We went to a neat old farm to get family pictures. Noah was pretty stoked. Aspen wanted nothing to do with it.

The Coolest Mall in Denver

Since it is winter time one of the things we did was go to a mall. This mall happened to have an outdoor theme. The kids got a kick out of the play areas.

Tiger at the Aquarium

We got to see 3 Tigers at the Aquarium. They were fun to watch, but it was a little weird realizing that our dog "Tiger has the same manurizms"

Making the Snowman

Noah waited forever until I told him the snow was perfect for a Snowman. Nice and wet. Her he is standing on the bottom layer. He lasted about a month until it warmed up.
Oh yeah, it is a boy. We found out on New Years Eve and it has taken us awhile to post.
Aspen got to sing in her school choir. They performed for the school, sang the national anthem at a Grizzlies hockey game and did a Christmas sing-a-long on the ice at intermission.
Noah's Christmas program was a hoot! He dug the antler hat.

Capital Reef

We went to Capital Reef the first week of October. This place rocks!! The kids completed a 5 mile hike down Sulpher Creek, we were so proud of them. We experienced Cathedral Valley for the first time. It is a long dirt road, but well worth the drive. We picked apples, saw petroglyphs and Tiger escaped into the dark night. Yes Tyler found him wandering with the deer in the orchards. Way cool family trip!!

Tiger

Tiger is Black Mouth Cur dog. We got him from the humane society. We were camping in Leadville when this picture was taken, that is why he is tied up.

JC Penney Picture

Noah T. turned 5 in June and we kept forgetting to post the cutest pictures ever. This profile picture is up in the studio at JC Penney at the District in South Jordan. All the ladies loved Noah T. in his cowboy duds and they had to have him on the wall. The chaps, belt and gun holster were hand made by my great uncle Russ. Noah loves to play cowboy. My sweet boy is growing up. We love you cocoa T.
