Every August we venture to Leadville Colorado to crew for Amanda's aunt Judy, who races the highest 100 mile Mountain Bike Race in the United States. As Lance Armstrong said, "It's a freakish display of endurance". Speaking of Lance Armstrong, he showed up to race this year. Aunt Judy did well as usual and finished her 9th LT100 in a row. Next year we will be back for number 10! Lance Armstrong went strong against 5 time champion Dave Wiens from Colorado, but Wiens pulled ahead at mile 90 and beat Armstrong by 1 min. 56 sec.
